International Degrees in Library and Information Science

 

The American Library Association only accredits library programs on the master's level within the United States. 

The following countries have been identified as having "formal" accreditation processes for library studies at the master's level.  Individuals receive a degree from an institution in one of these countries is considered acceptable for employment in the United States.
