For Teens

Study, work hard, and do your best to earn good grades. How well you do in high school can play an important part in gaining you admission to college.

Plan to go to college. You can major in almost any subject, so choose an area that you are passionate about. You will probably get better grades if your classes consist of things you enjoy. If you don’t know what interests you, take a variety of courses. You might also visit your school’s career counselor. She can help you explore your skills, interests, and abilities, and determine what major would be a good fit for you.
