CHICAGOCore hosts the webinar "Best of Core Forum: BIPOC Women Leadership in Academic Libraries" on February 7, 2024, at 1 p.m. CT. This panel presentation is composed of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) women leaders, working in middle management in academic libraries in North America. Each panelist will share their pathway to leadership and shed light on their challenges, solutions, and strategies in their individual journeys, and the skills they developed along the way. The panelists hope that by sharing their experiences, they may encourage peers with similar backgrounds to consider leadership roles.

This webinar was previously presented in-person as a session at the 2023 Core Forum. Core is hosting this webinar, with the session adapted and presented live as a virtual event, to extend its reach.

Please note: The presenters have asked that this webinar not be recorded so that participants can speak freely. Therefore, no recording will be made to share afterward. It's best to only sign up for this webinar if you're sure you can attend the live event.
