CHICAGOJoin Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures on Thursday, May 4, 2023 for the free Preservation Week® webinar “Networking Strategies Improve Disaster Readiness.” Alliances between public and institutional entities provide improved strength and resilience to disasters through recognizing common core values, creating new partnerships and sharing resources. In this webinar, examples will be provided of successful relationships and challenges they managed that can inspire new partnership models for collection leadership to pursue. The webinar seeks to inform attendees about how networking and the establishment of alliances improves disaster readiness, mitigates loss, and increases institutional and community resilience.
