CHICAGO–Presentation proposals are now being accepted for Core Forum 2024, to be held November 14-16, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the Hilton Minneapolis.

Core Forum is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow colleagues and make new connections while celebrating the interconnected library work that Core members share. It features a welcome reception on Thursday evening, keynote presentations, and more than 40 concurrent sessions, exhibits, and poster sessions. Presentations will cover a variety of timely topics and innovative content on access and equity, buildings and operations, leadership and management, metadata and collections, preservation, and technology. Take advantage of two full days of presentations, interactive panel discussions, and activities that will be thought-provoking and highly relevant to your current and future career paths.

The Forum leverages the collective expertise of presenters and attendees, facilitating enriching conversations and providing unique learning opportunities. Everyone, including non-Core members, is encouraged to attend and bring real-world questions, share experiences, and network to gain new perspectives.

Interested in leading or contributing to a session? Core wants to hear from you! Share your interesting projects, research, perspectives, and experiences. Fill out this form to submit your 60-minute session, poster, or preconference workshop. Presentations should be thought-provoking and highly relevant to practitioners. To review the 2024 Core Forum proposal questions before starting the form, please download the questions here.  The deadline for submitting your proposal is Sunday, February 25, 2024.

“Every session block had something relevant to my work in a public library. I enjoyed sharing meals and getting to know some librarians from across the country.”

“Core Forum provides me with an amazing opportunity to network and learn from other leaders and Library professionals. Core is a community of individuals that support our Libraries and do the heavy lifting behind the scenes.”
