CHICAGO – Today the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) announced that DOGObooks, the largest website for kids and teens to review books, will host the voting for the 2015 Teens’ Top Ten Books.

For the third year in a row, DOGObooks is the host site where teens will go to vote for the Teens’ Top Ten books. Voting by teens has grown significantly over the last couple of years, and organizers expect a record number of votes this year.

“We are thrilled to continue helping YALSA spread the word on Teen books!  Since the start of our partnership, DOGObooks has tripled in size as more kids and teens discover and share books they love” said Meera Dolasia, CEO of DOGO Media.

A link to the 2015 voting hosted by DOGObooks will be posted on the Reads 4 Teens site starting Aug. 15. The voting will feature all 24 book nominees showcasing book covers, titles and summaries, as well as the opportunity for teens to leave comments about their favorite titles.

Voting for the 2015 Teens’ Top Ten will take place from Aug. 15 – Oct. 24 of this year. Teens aged 12-18 are eligible to participate in the voting process and will be able to vote for up to three of their favorite titles from the list of 24 nominated titles. A video featuring the 24 nominated titles can be found on YALSA’s Reads 4 Teens site. Individual trailers for each title can also be found on YALSA’s youtube channel.

The Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, with teens nominating and choosing their favorite books of the previous year. Nominators are members of teen book groups from 16 school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on the Thursday of National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages 12-18 will vote online between August and Teen Read Week, which starts on Oct. 18, 2015. To vote and to learn more about the Teens’ Top Ten, please visit the Teens’ Top Ten website.
