PHILADELPHIA - The Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations (ALTAFF), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), is teaming with Library Journal to offer ALTAFF members a special deal on Patron Profiles, a digital online quarterly resource from Library Journal and Bowker Pubtrack Consumer that delivers critical, timely intelligence and trusted advice based on extensive surveys of library patrons.

ALTAFF members may purchase Patron Profiles with Real Time Reporting database access for their library at a 40 percent discount off the regular library rate. ALTAFF members who purchase Patron Profiles will be able to give their library access to the four quarterly issues of Patron Profiles, as well as a subscription to RTR (Real Time Reporting), which offers access to a rich database of all survey responses. It gives users the opportunity to drill deeper into the results, create custom reports and tables and get the answers that they need most.

Each issue of Patron Profiles will provide in-depth results and analysis on one crucial topic facing library leaders today. For the first year, the four topics will be e-books, the mobile library, websites/virtual services and patron media consumption.

The basic library rate for a year of Patron Profiles with RTR access is $1,000; Library Journal is offering subscriptions to ALTAFF members for just $600 for the year, a savings of 40 percent. ALTAFF members who want to take advantage of this offer can find complete information by signing into the Friends & Foundation Zone or the Trustee Zone at www.ala.org/altaff.
