Together We’re Stronger National Conference Registration Grants

CHICAGO — Thirty conference registration grants are available to school library professionals wishing to attend the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) National Conference. Sponsored by Penguin Random House, the “Together We’re Stronger National Conference Registration Grants,” will offer thirty AASL members complimentary registration to AASL National Conference, October 19-21, 2023, in Tampa, Florida.

Those interested in applying can access the application at www.ala.org/aasl/awards/prhgrants. The deadline for applications is July 11, 2023. Late applications will not be considered.

“It’s critical for school librarians to come together for support and encouragement as we continue to work tirelessly for the learning communities we serve,” said AASL President Kathy Lester. “Thank you, Penguin Random House, for your ongoing support of school librarians.”

A one-of-a-kind conference, the 2023 AASL National Conference will feature daily keynotes, more than 140 concurrent sessions, author panels, research empowering practice sessions, more than 100 exhibitors, the best practice IdeaLab, poster presentations, author signings, and endless networking opportunities. Content provided at the conference will be rooted in AASL's "National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries."
