CHICAGO – At 1 p.m. CST on Dec. 13, the Public Library Association (PLA) will host a live, hour-long webinar, “Nancy Pearl Presents: Books That Make Great Gifts.”
 
Part of the monthly PLA Webinar Series “Public Libraries at Work,” this event marks Pearl’s first-ever webinar with PLA. Her book recommendations will benefit library staff specializing in readers’ advisory, as well as anyone hoping to find the perfect gifts for family and friends. A downloadable handout of Pearl’s recommendations will be available following the webinar.
 
Cost to attend the webinar is $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (ALA Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for $129. Click here for more information and to register for the webinar.
