Get Involved and Connect with YALSA
YALSA offers several ways to connect with your fellow members and supporters of library service to young adults:
- From August 2012 through June 2013 YALSA's 2012 - 2013 President will host monthly Tweet-ups with members the 1st Tues. of each month from 1pm to 2pm, eastern, about various topics of interest, as chosen by members via a member survey. Topics and the hashtags to be used for the events will be posted in YALSA's Google calendar.
- Participate on a YALSA Member E-Chat with President Jack Martin. They are scheduled for August 2 and November 1 in 2012 and February 7 and May 9 in 2013. Chats will be held in Adobe Connect from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, eastern. Details will be posted in YALSA's Google calendar.
- Access the recording of the August 2, 2012 chat via Adobe Connect.
- Read & comment on the latest in YA librarianship & YALSA at the YALSA Blog
- Discuss common interests and exchange ideas by setting up aYALSA Interest Group
- Join the conversation on one of YALSA’s active Email Discussion Lists
- Network online with your fellow members via YALSA’s Social Networks, including ALA Connect, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
