CHICAGO — The American Library Association (ALA) has announced that ALA President Emily Drabinski will host and moderate a distinguished group of library leaders as they explore the contribution of libraries to their communities at the 2024 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) in Baltimore, January 19–22, 2024.

When library workers engage communities, magic happens. We celebrate milestones with our neighbors, connect children to their favorite artists and authors, and provide shelter from all kinds of storms. No matter where we are and who we serve, all of us contribute to the flourishing of public life.

At the Main Stage Panel Session: It’s All Happening in the Library, ALA President Emily Drabinski and panelists Nicole T. Bryan, Branch Manager of the Macon Library at Brooklyn Public Library; Eboni M. Henry, School Media Specialist for DC Public Schools in Washington, D.C.; and Sherry Scheline, Director of Donnelly (Idaho) Public Library District, will explore the contribution of libraries as they support their respective communities.

LibLearnX registration is open and registrants can save with advance rates through January 15.
