Sylvia meets with library and education organizations to form partnerships and collaborations that support AASL’s mission and the members it serves. As a non-voting member of both the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Sylvia serves as the primary liaison to these groups. Sylvia also works with other program managers to ensure that staff liaisons provide knowledgeable, efficient and timely service to those who serve as chairs of AASL committees and task forces.
When not in the office or traveling, Sylvia likes to explore Chicago’s lakefront trails and parks or take advantage of Chicago’s theaters and music. She periodically visits Maine to enjoy her home state.

Stephanie's primary responsibility is to manage and develop communication strategy for the division. Stephanie also has direct responsibility for AASL's publication program and coordinates the marketing and promotion of division programs, products, events and services to increase awareness, participation and sales.
When not working at AASL, Stephanie is a wedding and portraiture photographer and an independent documentary filmmaker. As often as possible she spends her free time taking advantage of the camping and activities available in the neighboring Wisconsin wilderness.

Allison is responsible for the day-to-day management of the division, including personnel and member relations. Allison oversees the implementation and monitoring of the strategic plan and the Longitudinal Study (School Libraries Count!) and development of the study's on-line tool.
When not at work, Allison takes advantage of the Midwest seasons - football falls, reading and fireplace winter, biking springs and lakefront summers. This of course is whenever her dog is not telling her what to do.

Meg is responsible for the development and production of the AASL journal, Knowledge Quest, and the AASL monthly e-newsletter KQ Express. She also serves as staff liaison to the member editors of AASL's online research journal, School Library Research.
When not working at AASL, Meg enjoys playing euchre, attending concerts and plays, spending time with family and friends, and reading (of course).

Jen manages the AASL website, writes press releases, and oversees AASL's social media. She serves as staff liaison to several committees including the Best Apps and Best Websites for Teaching & Learning and School Library Month. Jen also consults with the Professional Development Advisory committee to present AASL's web-based education.
When not working Jen spends time researching her family tree, reading almost anything she can get her hands on, and watching hockey.

Anne assists with membership and AASL national conference registration. In addition to supporting AASL, she also provides support to the executive director and works on special projects.
When not working Anne spends her time experimenting with baking, discovering new music and dining out with friends and family.

Manages the logistics of the AASL National Conference and the National Institute. Duties include site inspections for all AASL conferences and meetings, negotiating contracts, and managing all logistics of the conference.
