AASL Sections

The American Association of School Librarians maintains three member sections that represent a special field of activity within the school library profession.

Special Interest Groups (SIGS)

Is the member group you are seeking not available within the AASL Sections? Take a look at the AASL Special Interest Groups (SIG). Any group of ten or more AASL members interested in discussing a common concern which falls within the purpose of the AASL, but which is not the responsibility of an AASL section or committee, can form an interest group. AASL already has some active and growing groups to join. Membership in an interest group is open to all AASL members who are interested in the concerns of that group.
