School Library Research (SLR) Editorial Board Doctoral Student Application

As an ex officio committee member of the School Library Research Editorial Board, the doctoral student position will serve a one-year term, eligible for reappointment.

A doctoral student position on the editorial board provides an opportunity for emerging researchers to see a range of research manuscripts while gaining insight into the process of review and editing that leads to a published research article directly related to school librarianship.

The role of the doctoral student will include intake and tracking manuscripts through the review process from initial submission to final decision.  The work of this SLR Editorial Board position is remote and does not require any location requirement. The number of active submissions does fluctuate but this position should expect approximately 3-5 manuscripts per month that will require processing and managing through the review process with an anticipated hour commitment of 10-15 hours per month.
