Nominees must be current, personal AASL members and are currently working or have worked in the school library field.
Timeline & Process
An open call for nominations will be held January 7 through February 1, 2019.
Finalists will be selected by the Social Media Recognition Committee and announced February 22.
From February 22 through March 15, members of the school library community and the public are invited to post endorsements.
Those receiving top recognition will be announced during School Library Month on April 1, 2019, and will be recognized during the ALA Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
