Charge
Supports educational efforts in the area of acquisitions, from fundamentals training and library school education to all types of continuing education; encourages programs, preconferences and institutes; identifies needs and makes recommendations for the content of such educational opportunities; addresses issues related to the education and recruitment of acquisitions professionals; establishes liaisons and partnerships, as appropriate, between the committee and other groups having similar interests.
