EMIERT Multicultural Awards
The EMIERT Distinguished Librarian Award and the David Cohen/EMIERT Multicultural Award
EMIERT offers two awards to encourage and recognize multiculturalism in libraries and the library profession. For more information about the awards, including nomination forms, please follow the links:
- The 2013 EMIERT Distinguished Librarian Award, which recognizes any significant accomplishments in library services that are national or international in scope and that include improving, spreading, and promoting multicultural librarianship. Nominations for the 2013 EMIERT Distinguished Librarian Award are being accepted; all nominations must be received by Monday, January 21, 2013.
- The David Cohen/EMIERT Multicultural Award, which encourages and recognizes articles of significant new research and publication that increases understanding and promotes multiculturalism in libraries in North America. This award will be offered in 2014. top
