Bookmobiles in Washington
A Parade of Bookmobiles, is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26th at ALA’s Annual Conference in Washington, DC. to coincide with ALA’s Congressional lobbying efforts and allow bookmobile staff to share benefits and resources of mobile libraries with Congressional representatives from individual states.
“MOBILE OUTREACH: ACCESS AT ITS BEST,” a workshop held Sunday, June 24, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm provided a forum for learning about bookmobiles and sharing experiences. Workshop materials should be posted online soon.
