Composition
The Round Table Coordinating Assembly (RTCA) is composed of the chair, chair-elect, immediate past chair, treasurer of each round table and individuals currently serving on ALA committees as a result of the collective appointment by the RT's.Origin
The Round Table Coordinating Assembly (RTCA) originally started out as the Round Table Coordinating Committee (RTCC), an informal discussion group. At the 2002 ALA Annual Conference ALA Council approved the new name as the Round Table Coordinating Assembly (RTCA), an official group of ALA. This group is included in ALA Handbook of Organization.
