SPAIN: Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville

ASCLA hosts fundraising trips around the world. This adventure is open to the library community and their friends and family; there are no membership requirements in order to participate. Bring your spouses, siblings and friends along!
Travelers will arrive in Barcelona on March 27, 2014. In Barcelona you will tour the city, La Sagrada Família and Park Guell, two of Gaudi’s creations, the Barcelona Public Library and Las Ramblas. The next stop will be Seville, with a tour of Alcazar, Archivo General de Indias and Biblioteca Colombina, housing documents about explorations to the “New World” including drawings and letters from Christopher Columbus, Hernan Cortes and other explorers. Then, you will travel to Madrid with a stop en route in Cordoba to visit the Mezquita, an incredible Church that has been a Mosque, Synagogue and Catholic Church, plus a tour of the Prado in Madrid.

Trip Cost: $2,739.00 plus airfare. Includes 8 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 6 dinners, 8 nights of accommodations in 4 and 5 star hotels, motor coach transportation, airfare from Barcelona to Seville, and Lyceum Tours escort and guides as noted in the itinerary. Deposit payment of $500 is due by January 20, 2014 to reserve your space, with the balance due by February 25, 2014. Please make checks payable to Lyceum Tours.
