Training Descriptions/Options

Goal: Participants will be able to present Every Child Ready to Read workshops for parents and child care providers in the library or as part of outreach efforts.

So...which training session do I want? They seem similar?
If you want participants to gain a succinct but solid knowledge about early literacy and be able to describe the workshops to staff, to partners and potential partners, choose the half-day one.

If you want participants to learn about early literacy research and if they will be presenting or are in a position where they may want to present the workshops to parents and caregivers, choose the full-day workshop.  The hands-on activities support the comfort level in doing the workshops.

Option 1: Half day (4 content hours)
