May 2023 Member of the Month: Sharon Rawlins

As the Youth Services Specialist at the NJ State Library since 2007, I coordinate the statewide summer reading program and provide services and resources for youth services staff in NJ libraries. I’ve attended nearly every YALSA Symposium, chaired YALSA’s Award for Excellence in Nonfiction committee, and served on the Printz and Margaret A. Edwards award committees. When not reading, or reviewing books for SLJ and Booklist, I love to cook, watch movies, and go for long walks.
