Be the first to meet and greet YALSA members at this
informal gathering, which immediately follows the “Moving up the Career Ladder” preconference. Happy Hour attendees will learn about appropriate dress for the library work world in a fun, informal setting. The past few happy hours have been filled to capacity. Friday June 25.

Preconference Luncheon (

Members of your organization can network and have lunch with the YALSA attendees. Attendance for past preconferences has run between 85 - 125. This preconference, “Flirting with Danger: Talking about the Hard Stuff with Teens,” will allow attendees to explore strategies and resources for strengthening library collections and services for teens wanting to explore adolescent issues. There will be expert authors, librarians and educators from across the country. Friday June 25.
