The Wheel on the School

The Wheel on the School is an introspective story of Lina, her five school-boy companions and the elder inhabitants of Shora, a small Dutch fishing village where storks have never nested. Against his native Netherlands as a background, DeJong builds a warm, tender, suspenseful tale as the six children search for a wagon wheel on which the storks traditionally prefer to build their nests.
