About

As Pearl begins 5th grade, she struggles with bouts of chronic sadness and anxiety.  When symptoms worsen, her parents take her to Dr. Jill who diagnoses her with depression. Surrounded by support, Pearl learns coping techniques and strengthens her relationship with her Grandaddy.
