About

The active learning centered Emerging Digital Information Skills workshops address a previously unmet need for instruction in areas like data science, visualization, virtual reality, digital media production, fabrication and introduce students and researchers to tools such as Tableau, Web VR frameworks, Jekyll, 3D printing and R programming. Sessions give a conceptual overview of the technology or process, provide a structured hands-on experience where participants learn by doing, and allow time for participants to apply that learning through open-ended exploration and play.
