About

Jake longs to disappear–middle school is lonely and confusing. He stops eating when the voice in his head tells him he’s a loser and unworthy of taking up space. Hospitalized for anorexia and anxiety, Jakes chronicles his recovery in verse, ultimately learning to quiet the voice and take up the space he deserves.
