In recognition of her leadership and guidance as chair of the ALCTS Implementation Task Group
on the Library of Congress Working Group Report. Given the significant task of transforming
many of the recommendations selected for work by ALCTS into actions, Kate led her task group skillfully and methodically through the myriad of possibilities, successfully converting those
recommendations into action items to be pursued by ALCTS’ groups. Her focus and dedication
to the task provided ALCTS with new opportunities to reach out to the library community.
