Abraham Lincoln's World

by Genevieve Foster, and published by Scribner

The book cover of "Abraham Lincoln's World" by Genevieve Foster features a bust of Abraham Lincoln. On each side of the bust, are globes, one showing the western and one the eastern continents. A chain representing slavery runs across the globes. Below the bust there is a bonfire of crossed sticks. All around are oak leaves (representing strength) and laurel leaves (representing victory). The John Newbery Medal Honor Award Seal has been affixed above the eastern globe.
