Author, playwright, and poet Thomas Lanier “Tennessee” Williams (1911-1983), was born in Columbus, Mississippi. In tribute to his life and writings, this site, formerly the rectory of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, was dedicated a Literary Landmark.
