Mighty Girl Coders Example Flyer

An example of a poster, created for the Mighty Girl Coders program, to promote activities, recruit participants and advertise the schedule for coding programs being offered.
The Mighty Girl Coders flyer has images of girls and language about the program audience that will give other libraries looking at recruiting girls to library activities ideas for getting started. This flyer uses a number of strategies to invite youth to programs, including those who may not yet be involved with technology: (1) Including multiple library activities available for various age groups; (2) using non-traditional images of computing activities, including pictures of young girls and colorful non-screen images
