StoryLines America aired its fourth season this fall with a series of radio programs in New England.
StoryLines New England featured 13 weekly, one-hour radio shows, each focusing on one outstanding example of literature from the region.

The lead scholar for
StoryLines New England was David Watters, professor of English at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, and Director of the Center for New England Culture. Dr. Watters coordinated the selection of the
StoryLines New England book list with Karen L. Kilcup, professor of American Literature at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and Kent C. Ryden, associate professor of American and New England Studies at the University of Southern Maine, Portland.

The series broadcast on participating National Public Radio stations throughout the country, but focused on New England libraries, including those in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
