The Jazz Age in Paris was a panel exhibition that examined Europe's early jazz movement, its close relationship to the development of jazz in the United States, and the American artist, writers and musicians who lived in Paris during the early 1900's. From January 1999 to March 2001,
The Jazz Age in Paris traveled to 28 public and academic libraries across the United States.

The traveling exhibition is an initative of the American Library Association (ALA) and the
Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), with major support from the
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
