State-level Funding Opportunities

With support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), state humanities councils in 36 states and the District of Columbia will offer support for Making Sense of the American Civil War reading and discussion programs, during the Civil War sesquicentennial period (2011-2015). Statewide programs are available in AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DE, GA, HI, ID, IN, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WV, WI, and WY.
