Charge
The Membership and Outreach Committee effectively engages SustainRT members in the activities of the Roundtable and helps create a sense of community among current members using a variety of methods that reach diverse audiences across all library types.
- Overall Activities/Responsibilities:
- Support relevant goals as outlined in the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan
- Engage with the SustainRT membership
- Including emailing new, renewing, and lapsed members if possible - this would most likely be in collaboration with ALA
Assist in organizing ALA annual and midwinter events

- Promote events
- Communicate and promote benefits of SustainRT membership
- Liaise with external sustainability organizations for networking and visibility, including the Libraries and Sustainability AASHE Community of Practice
