Future media librarians with a demonstrated interest in film history, film production, film distribution, or other significant aspect of the film industry through active participation in film programs, film festivals, film societies or the business of film. Candidates who have prior degrees in Film Studies will be given priority. Candidates must demonstrate superior scholarship in this field of study, and completion of one academic year as a Masters Degree candidate an ALA Accredited School at the time the award is given.
Criteria
The scholarship is to be given once a year to a Masters degree candidate in Library Science in an ALA Accredited School who intends to work professionally as a media librarian in an academic institution.
