OBJECTIVES: Participants discussed what are the best ways to communicate how our services and collections are being affected by the current national economic crisis ? Suggestions and tips were shared about how to make difficult decisions about what to keep and what to eliminate? What are the best ways to explain these choices to our library communities and library colleagues? What are the best ways to respond to user comments, concerns and complaints?





SUMMARY: The co-chairs also started the re-petitioning process for the Dual Assignment discussion group.





EVALUATION: Continuing to have the discussion group at the same time each conference seems to be a popular draw for people. We have new faces each conference, but we also have attendees who come each conference.
