Updating Current Content
- Any RUSA member or group can suggest edits to the Guide to Policy and Procedures.
- Suggestions should be made to the RUSA Executive Director.
- The RUSA Executive Director will identify and notify any group or individuals impacted by the change.
- The RUSA Executive Director will review the Guide to Policy and Procedures for any additional needed changes or impacts.
- Edits do not need to be approved by the Board, but the Board will be notified of any non-typographical changes.
- The RUSA Executive Director will be responsible for implementing modifications to policy and procedures.
Creating New Content
- Any RUSA member or group can suggest new chapters or sections within chapters to the Guide to Policy and Procedures.
- Suggestions should be made to the RUSA Executive Director.
- The RUSA Executive Director will identify and facilitate the writing of the new content.
- The RUSA Board will approve any new chapters.
- The RUSA Executive Director will be responsible for implementing modifications to policy and procedures.
Regular Review
- Relevant committees will annually review each chapter. The group responsible is specified at the bottom of each chapter.
- Every 3 years the RUSA Board will charge a task force to review the Guide to Policy and Procedures.
