History: Membership & Communications Committee

The committee manages the section’s media outlets (including the website, Connect, social media, and contributions to RUSA Update), promotes the Section’s activities and initiatives, and advises on other communication-related issues.

Objectives:

Increase communication and engagement over the History Section Connect forum, Facebook page, and Twitter.

• Post to Connect, Facebook, and Twitter
• As of August 2023, the History Section Discussion List (Open Forum) has 908 members, as well as 425 followers on Facebook and 231 Twitter followers.
