Greetings NMRT members!
The Nominating Committee has put out a call for nominations to run for the NMRT Board. This includes the President-Elect
(three-year term, one as VicePresident, one as President, and one as Past President), Secretary (one-year term), Outreach
Director (two-year term), Networking Director(two-year term), and Assistant Treasurer (three-year term). Serving on the
Board is a wonderful way to gain leadership experience and help shape the future of NMRT.
We hope you will join us in Boston for the Midwinter Meeting from January 15-19, 2010. Advance registration ends
December 4, 2009. NMRT events will include our popular Orientation, the NMRT Board Meeting, the Membership,
Committee, and Information Sessions, and the Midwinter Social.
It's not too early to start thinking about the Annual Conference in Washington DC. Now is the time to apply for the 3M Professional Development Grant and the Shirley Olofson Memorial Award. More information can be found at the NMRT Grants, Scholarships & Awards web page .
