Margaret Driscoll was nominated as an exceptional female leader at the California State University Channel Islands Women’s Recognition Luncheon 2013, “Women Inspiring Innovation through Imagination: Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.” Margaret is the Reserves/eReserves Coordinator at CSU Channel Islands.

Katy DiVittorio (Serials Acquisitions Specialist, Auraria Library in Denver, CO) is the 2013 winner of the Shirley Olofson Memorial Award.

Allison Coltin started a new position as a Reference Librarian at the Thousand Oaks Library (Thousand Oaks, CA) in February.

Courtney L. Young’s (Penn State Greater Allegheny) article “To be Discontinued: A Virtual Reference Cautionary Tale The Reference Librarian" was published in the column “At Your Fingertips: Trends in Virtual Reference Services" in The Reference Librarian, Vol. 54, Iss. 2, 2013.

Leo Lo (Research & Development Librarian at Kansas State University Libraries) was invited to publish an essay for the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA) website. The essay, "My Personal Strategic Plan," is part of a series of personal essays highlighting the different kinds and forms of identities within APALA populations.
