Meet the NMRT Board - Laurel Bliss, NMRT Services Director

Laurel Bliss completed her undergraduate degree at Haverford College, received an MA in History at the University of Virginia, and her MLS at Southern Connecticut State University. Laurel is currently the Assistant Librarian at Princeton University’s Marquand Library of Art and Archaeology.

Since joining NMRT in 2000, Laurel has been involved with the Handbook, Governance, and Nominating Committees and in 2004, she was the Networking Director. Her favorite part of NMRT is “the cool people I get to meet at conferences and work with on committees.” Laurel is also involved with ARLIS/NA and ACRL/Arts.

In 2002, she won one of ten EBSCO/ALA Conference Sponsorship Awards to attend the annual ALA Conference in Atlanta. When not working, she enjoys traveling, bicycling, and reading.
