Now that you’ve been assigned a fellow peer mentor, what should your meetings look like?

Create an end goal for your peer mentorship, whether that be a blog post, a collaboration between your school and their library, or something else entirely. Make your meetings count towards that goal, and talk about your experiences at work.

  - Location
  - Type of library
  - All blogs should be a minimum of 500 words

Talk in between meetings on our Slack channel
Remember it’s a relationship, not a transaction
Set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound)

Remember that mentors should ideally meet once a week and talk through email or Slack in between. If any questions arise, you can bring it up on the Slack channel or by emailing the program here.
