IRRT Pre-Conference - Outreach through New Partnerships: Strategies and Successes

Description:  Join us in this half day pre-conference program to lean more about what libraries around the world are doing to outreach through new partnerships.  Presenters will discuss practical case studies, application of unique outreach models, successful implementation of creative programs, and summaries of library strategis and approaches to developing sustainable partnerships with local organizations. The $75 registration includes light refreshments and lunch.

Description:
The International Relations Round Table (IRRT) welcomed and celebrated with all conference-attending international librarians, from more than 80 countries, at the ALA Annual Conference. The International Librarians Reception will be held at the Genration Hall, a new museum complex of the arts and culture.  Open to all conference attendees, but free to International Librarians outside the U.S., this reception offers a unique opportunity to network with hundreds of information professionals from around the world. Participants will find a mixing of culture and ideas, regional cuisine, hors d'oeuvres and open bar.
