  ATTENTION GODORT MEMBERS

If you have a strong interest in State and Local, International, and/or Federal Documents, GODORT wants you to be part of the GODORT leadership team. Please consider running for one of the following elected GODORT offices or committees.

Positions Elected Every Year:

  • Assistant Chair/Chair-Elect (3 years)
  • Secretary (1 year)
  • Awards Committee (2 years)
  • Bylaws Committee (2 years)
  • Nominating Committee ( 2 years)
  • Publications Committee Chair/Chair-Elect (2 years)
  • Federal Documents Task Force Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator-Elect (2 years)
  • Federal Documents Task Force Secretary (1 year)
  • International Documents Task Force Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator-Elect (2 years)
  • International Documents Task Force Secretary (1 year)
  • State and Local Documents Task Force Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator-Elect (2 years)
  • State and Local Documents Task Force Secretary (1 year)

Positions Elected Periodically:

  • GODORT Councilor (3 years) (2007,2010, 2013, 2016, etc)
  • GODORT Treasurer (2 years) (2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, etc)

The Assistant Chair/Chair-Elect office and the GODORT Councilor require a three-year commitment to GODORT. GODORT Treasurer and Task Force Coordinator/Coordinator-Elect offices require a two-year commitment.
