Anaheim: GNCRT at WonderCon (Mar 29-31, 2019)
The GNCRT is hosting two sessions (our first ever!) at WonderCon on Mar 30th and 31st. Join us on Saturday, March 30th from 1:30-2:30pm for a session on Comics in Your Community, and Sunday March 31st from 4-5pm for Coffee & Conversation with comics creator Scott Snyder (WYTCHES).
SATURDAY 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Comics in Your Community—Join creators David Baron (Stained) and Brian Stelfreeze (Matador), comics librarian Dan Wood (youth librarian, Escondido Public Library), comics retailer Rachel Parker (SoCal Games & Comics) and Morgan Perry (retail sales coordinator, BOOM! Studios) to hear their unique perspectives on how comics transform lives. Moderator Moni Barrette (adult librarian, Escondido Public Library) will lead a Q&A session between panelists and comic enthusiasts. Room 208
SUNDAY 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Comics, Coffee & Conversation—Join creator Scott Snyder (WYTCHES), comics librarians and educators, and fellow graphic novel enthusiasts for fandom conversations over coffee! Topics will range from how graphic novels are used in education today, how diversity is spreading in the comics community, and information about the new Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table of the American Library Association.
