Support ALA scholarships by bidding on great items up for bid at this year's ERT Silent Auction! Without a doubt, the auction has some terrific bargains. Save 25-50% off retail - sometimes more! Think of the added purchasing power these savings will generate for your library or yourself!
In addition to all the money you'll save, you'll also be helping a great cause. Proceeds from the ERT Silent Auction are used to fund $5000 scholarships to deserving library school students.
A new twist for 2005!
This year ERT is teaming with the Children's Book Council who will auction over 100 Letters of Imagination! Top illustrators including Mark Teague, Leo and Diane Dillon, and the 2005 Caldecott Winner, Kevin Henkes, are just a few artists donating one-of-a-kind original signed works of art. Be sure to see William Wegman's "W", or "T" by Tomie de Paola.
Proceeds from Letters of Imagination will generously fund ALA scholarships and the Children's Book Council literacy programs.

If you have a donation you think would interest bidders, please fill out the donation form and send as an attachment to Kelly Bullock, auction coordinator, klbullock@bellsouth.net or fax it to her at 423-847-9893. Donation ideas:
- Do you have unused, antique, or collector’s items valued from $10.00 on up?
- How about a particular craft or talent? Do you paint, needlepoint, quilt, etc.?
- Put that vacation home to good use and donate a week’s stay!
- Are airline miles or other award points piling up faster than you can use them? Donate them!
- Can you collaborate with other libraries in your state to fill a “State themed” gift basket?

Getting Your Donation & Signage to the Show for Display
You can either hand-carry your donation and signage (maximum sign size is 11”x14”) to the show and deliver it to the silent auction area on Friday, June 25 or ship your donation/signage direct to showsite by using the above address. If shipping, make sure all charges are pre-paid and the shipment arrives on Thursday, June 24th or Friday, June 25th ONLY between 8am-2pm.
