LGBTQIA+ Religion & Spirituality - A Selective Bibliography: 2021–2025
This is a selective list of English language printed books discussing LGBTQIA+ Religion and Spirituality. The bibliography lists author, title, publisher, and date of publication. One should refer to publishers or book suppliers for content summaries, reader’s reviews, available formats, pricing, and ordering information.
Note: Electronic books, novels, poetry, and children’s books are not included. Printed items of less than 50 pages are counted as pamphlets or booklets, and are, generally, not included. A select few of these short items are included and the number of pages is indicated.
This list does not include religious-themed notebooks, composition notebooks, journals, workbooks, coloring books, daily planners, religious study guides, or diaries.
A select number of titles published in mid- to late-2020 are included, as are some forthcoming books to be published in the coming year.
A book is available from major booksellers when it is added to the list. Some included books have one or two chapters on LGBTQIA+ Religion and Spirituality, and may also contain discussions of other issues as well.
Excluded from this list are books (1) that are negative, homophobic, prejudiced, demeaning, or hateful in their treatment of the subject; and (2) books that promote the changing of a person’s sexual orientation or “conversion therapy.”
