The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) shall exist to develop programs of particular interest to retired persons from all types of libraries and all forms of library services, including formal opportunities for continued involvement and learning; a variety of leadership training and opportunities for mentoring; lifelong professional involvement and networking; and active engagement in the American Library Association and the profession of librarianship.

The Retired Members Round Table (RMRT) focuses on maintaining networking and relationships among members - either retired or in late career stages. RMRT provides members with an avenue to stay active during retirement and continue to contribute to an organization that many were involved in before retirement. Your involvement with RMRT will allow you to easily share your unique skills and knowledge as a long-time professional for both mentoring and for association development. RMRT needs members from all types of libraries and ll forms of library services to help develop programs and services. Join RMRT to continue your professional development.
