Your gift supports PLA's efforts to strengthen public libraries and the communities they serve

In September 2021, PLA officially launched the Friends of PLA fund. Gifts made to the Friends of PLA fund support PLA to empower public library professionals with the necessary skills to be innovative and successful leaders of change. These donations also contribute to the sustainability of PLA and its programmatic priorities.

The Friends of PLA fund is the evolution of PLA’s Fund for the Future, a prior giving campaign that was created to develop and support future leaders of America’s public libraries. PLA thanks the nearly 70 members and friends who were founding donors to the Fund for the Future.
